That's it! With this rebrand project in the books, I am proud to say that I have completed all of the graphic design courses required to graduate. This was the final project of my graphic design studies, which brings me one step closer to my full-time, professional career as a designer.
For this ultimate project, we were tasked with researching a company in need of a rebrand, and execute that rebrand in the form of an identity standards manual. I chose Pillsbury, a recognizable, uniquely American company that is known for its delicious pastries and lovable mascot, "The Pillsbury Doughboy." When researching this company, I noticed that there was a disconnect between the doughboy and the logo. The two brand elements just didn't fit together. This inspired me to create a new brand for Pillsbury that honors its heritage while introducing a new vibe to make the brand more cohesive. To accomplish this, I created a primary and secondary logo, as well as a type guide and a color guide.
